Calorimetric instruments are being increasingly
adopted as the method of choice for the measurement of thermodynamic parameters
associated with biomolecular interactions. As a result it is important to bring
together scientists with interests in this field to discuss usage (and abusage)
of these methods. The meeting will focus on the determination and interpretation
of the calorimetric data and how these impinge on the understanding of
biological systems. The purpose of the meeting is to encourage the
interaction between students and young scientist, mostly from Latin-America,
with senior researchers from the international scientific community.
